The H60 has been 100% designed by Gsertel, part of Televes Corporation, where a highly skilled team of Telecommunications and Electrical Engineers were the first to develop a field system analyzer with digital processing technology over four years ago.

Each H60 is made up of more than 10,000 components and integrated circuits. Once all the parts are in house the units are manufactured following the below processes, all of which take place at Televes Corporation in Santiago de Compostela.

GCE, a Televes Corporation company, designs and manufactures all the printed circuit boards (PCBs) that make up the various functional modules of H60. Once verified, the PCBs enter the SMD center, where three automatic lines assemble the most demanding components, with sizes down to 200 microns and BGA mounting technology.

The H60 undergoes a special process called SPI, a process by which only the exact volume of tin is supplied to each PCB route. This eliminates potential welding problems that might go unnoticed in inspection but could cause long-term issues for the customer.

After the SMD process has been completed, each mounted PCB is validated with a combination AOI and AXI controls. By doing both optical and X-ray inspections we ensure a 100% correct welding. Any marginal deviation causes the disposal of that module. All the parameters and values of each module are recorded to enable integral product traceability.

 

Televes Corporation has its own foundry, injection and molding facilities. The chassis and blocks of Zamak (zinc alloy composed of aluminum, magnesium and copper) and the high-density polycarbonate housing give the product the best protection in case of accidental drops.

These items come in the form of plastic pellets and metal blocks to our facilities. The raw materials go through a series of melt and injection processes until the molded parts are ready for final processing baths (metals), which ensure the best long term endurance of the piece.

Each polycarbonate or metal piece is then fully inspected using artificial vision equipment to ensure that no cracks, burrs or imperfections are present. We recognize that this might be overkill, but we spare no resources or knowledge to ensure the quality of our product.

 

By the time the components, PCBs, display, metal parts, chassis, housing and polycarbonate pieces are assembled, the H60 has already passed more inspections than any other similar product in market, but we don't stop there. There are three types of final functional comprobations that take place before putting it in the hands of our customers. 

Stress cycles: Automatic processes that measure the actual performance of each component against a table of theoretical values
 
Climatic chamber: Each H60 is turned on and connected to a live television signal, then cycled inside a climatic chamber with temperatures ranging between -15ºC and 70ºC and up to 98% moisture.
 
Final inspection of all the functionality performed by a qualified technician.
 
All this effort has only one goal: We are proud of our track record of reliability in our H-Series and we want it to remain the same. The H60 comes with a full factory warranty of 1 years and a 6 month warranty coverage for batteries.
