TELEVES launches its Corporate TV Channel
The initiative responds to the company’s desire to promote its Communication tools, by making intensive use of new technologies
Santiago de Compostela, 22th September 2009.Televes has launched its corporate TV channel. Televes Corporate Channel (TCC) will offer looped TV at all the company’s centres, including information about the business group and about strategic products, news, advertising campaigns and entertainment pieces, in an attractive, direct and enjoyable format. With TCC, Televes launches a tool to strengthen his Internal Communication. At the same time, it offers to its clients the opportunity to obtain totally updated information about the company. Initially, the corporate channel will be available at all Televes regional offices in Spain. In the second phase, TCC will reach its international subsidiaries and will also be available on the Televes web (www.televes.com). The launch of its corporate channel reaffirms Televes’ leadership in its sector and responds to the company’s desire to promote its Communication tools, by making intensive use of all the possibilities offered by the new technologies. The first broadcasts of TCC will include, among other content, videos on the new DAT HD, the first intelligent antenna, developed specifically for digital television; on the H45 portable field strength meter, the first in its class to incorporate digital processing, and on the HDTV Tour (www.hdtv-tour.com), which started out in April on a journey that will take it around Europe to bring the key technological points of high definition television to the professionals. Arantia, a subsidiary of Televes Corporation, has played a significant part in the development of TCC. Arantia is a leading supplier of end to end IPTV and Interactive Television platforms for operators and service providers.
