Televes has launched the Q1500 tower, made of high purity stainless steel and with a totally novel design based on naval technology. The result is a tower that is 14.5 metres high with a radius of just 1.5 metres, which represents a saving of 401 square metres in terrain for installation compared to a conventional device of similar characteristics.

Televes will participate in the Light+Building trade fair that will be held in Frankfurt (Germany) from 15 to 20 April. This event will bring together over 2000 companies from all over the world, who will share their solutions for technology and lighting services for buildings.

Santiago de Compostela, 10th April 2012. Televes has launched the new Innova BOSS, a antenna specially designed for indoor reception of digital terrestrial television (DTT).

It incorporates Televes's revolutionary patented BOSS Tech electronic device that automatically controls the level of the output signal, ensuring the highest quality picture and sound – even in areas with low coverage – while minimising interference caused by movements near the antenna or TV. This is, therefore, a smart antenna.

Televes has launched its new DTKom high-power output headend units, suitable for all types of terrestrial television installations (MATV).
The DTKom range is formed by three references, all of which incorporate Power-Doubling technology, which allows output voltages of 129 dBµV (DIN45004B) to be reached on any band. In addition, they are equipped with a gain switch with which they adapt the output level to the characteristics of the distribution network.

Televes will be present once more at the CABSAT 2012 fair, which will take place from February 28th to March 1st at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai.  The company will exhibit in Stand S-B11 at the Sheikh Saeed Hall.

Televes has launched the new home amplifiers in the PicoKom series, making the most of the new generation of micro-components to significantly reduce size and electricity consumption.
The new Picokom amplifiers have two output connections, they are the ideal solution for distributing television signals at home, serving a large number of outlet points.
Its small size makes it discreet and perfect for installing in spaces of 100 x 100 millimetres and less.

Exactly one year ago Televes announced an ambitious venture to fully renovate its catalogue and strengthen its leadership through innovation: plan NP100. The aim was to launch one hundred new products in 18 months. It was not an easy challenge and one which demanded the involvement of the whole organisation, from the sales management and the R+I departments to the Logistics and Industrial Organisation services. A challenge, also, that was developed within a very complex context; the global economic recession.

Televes will participate at 14th International Exhibition and Forum CSTB 2012 which will be held in Moscow from 7th to 9th February, at the Crocus Expo exhibition centre.
This event, which includes a fair and a programme of seminars and conferences, will be an important international showcase for avant-garde technologies in television and telecommunications: DTT, cable, satellite TV, IPTV, OTT TV, HDTV and 3DTV, contents, broadband, multi-service networks, satellite communication wireless technologies, etc.

Televes will be taking part in the International Exhibition of Electricity, Communications, Light and Audio Visual in Jyväskyä, Finland. This fair is the Scandinavian country's main industry trade event and features a significant presence of international firms. The fair will take place from 1 to 3 February and will be combined with a programme of seminars and conferences.

Televes takes another step forward in its installer service policy with the commercialisation of fully assembled, adjusted and programmed distribution headends. This way, the professionals can opt for a solution that gives them considerable advantages, such as important time savings in installation and a total guarantee of reliability, as the devices leave Televes’ premises fully checked and in operation.  The installer only has to connect the incoming signal via the backpanel.
