FAQ 306-2003-en

How do "Cable equaliser" and "System equaliser" work within a line amplifier?

Respuesta:

The cable equaliser compensates for channel unbalancing at the input of the active stage. This way it prevents intermodulation products that might be produced in this stage.

The system equaliser performs a pre-émphasis of the output channels to compensate distribution network losses. By doing this way, channels will come as much balanced as possible to the next amplifier.
