How can I receive the signals in the C band?
The C band is situated around the 6 GHz reception frequency.
The only difference between a C band receiver system and a Ku band receiver system (SAT TV conventional transmission band) is in the external unit (LNB and waveguide).
An important characteristic of transmissions in this band is that the video is inverted.
The Televes Star2000 and SAT100 units are able to vary this parameter by means of specific microswitches.
Sometimes satellites that broadcast in the C band can also broadcast in the Ku band.
When using a single dish, we recommend you use the "corrotor", which can separate these two bands, diverting each of them to the corresponding LNB.
