FAQ 75-2002-es

In a headend with modulators and broadband amplification, the theoretical output level calculated for the channels that already exist is not obtained.

Intermodulation interferences appear before this level is obtained.

Why?

Respuesta:

Modulators generate:

  • The desired channel.
  • The local oscillator tone.
  • An upper side band.

Depending on the band under consideration, these signals limit the calculation of the maximum level of the amplifier.

All of these have to be considered as channels that are to be amplified.
