This new enclosure can be used as a fibre interconnection or termination point. Its design allows it to be used to house either fibre cable or a 2 or 4 way fibre splitter (the enclosure becomes a boxed splitter). It can either be attached to a wall with screws, be fitted inside a pattress box or it could also be attached to a DIN rail.

Its main features are:

• It includes 5 access points for the fibre (4 corners and back).
• It has the right dimensions for the installation of the fibre avoiding bending radius that could damage it (generating extra losses).
• The guidance of the multi-fibre cable is done through the back by means of several securing points for the cable. Additionally, cable ties are included with the enclosure in case they are required to secure the fibre inside the box even better.
• It can hold up to 4 fusion protection sleeves inside.
• It includes 2 SC/APC adaptors with auto-blocking cap.
• There is space in its front cover to stick a colour coded label (included) which allows you to match the fibres to the apartments that they are going into. Making it easier to identify at a later stage which fibre goes where.
