- The announcement is part of the global strategy of ArantiaTV, Televes’ television platform for Hospitality, conceived as an open, multi-vendor ecosystem
- ArantiaCast is part of this environment as a native module, already approved and certified for LG and Philips displays as well; allowing hotels to maintain technological consistency regardless of the chosen manufacturer
- This integration with Samsung has been certified in parallel by Google, providing additional assurance for customers
Santiago de Compostela - October 1, 2024.
Guest experience in hotels has changed irreversibly. The television, historically conceived as a passive device, has become a central hub for connectivity, personalization and digital continuity. In this context, Televes takes another strategic step by integrating ArantiaCast, its embedded casting solution, into Samsung’s range of professional Hospitality televisions.
This integration directly addresses one of the main demands of the market: enabling guests to enjoy their own content from personal devices with the same ease and security as in their home environment, while meeting the strict operational requirements of a hotel infrastructure.

“The integration of ArantiaCast into Samsung Hospitality televisions represents another milestone in Televes evolution within this sector,” says David Serramiá, Hospitality Business Director at Televes. “It is not just about enabling casting functionality, but about doing so with an architecture designed for hotel operators, offering control, security and a consistent guest experience. This agreement reinforces our vision of building solutions that support hotels in their digital transformation, today and in the future.”
Samsung and Televes: an integration designed for the long term
The inclusion of ArantiaCast in Samsung’s Hospitality range is an achievement that strengthens Televes’ professional ecosystem with a field-proven solution, developed by a European manufacturer with deep expertise in audiovisual content distribution in complex network environments.
For Televes, this integration consolidates years of technological development in the field of IP television, where the full range of ArantiaTV services have become a benchmark for its robustness, flexibility and ability to adapt to different hotel models, from resorts to high-turnover urban chains.
ArantiaCast: a technical response to an operational challenge
Unlike external solutions or additional devices, ArantiaCast operates natively on televisions that include embedded GoogleCast, such as LG, Samsung and Philips, eliminating points of failure, reducing installation complexity and simplifying management for hotel IT teams.
It is also compatible with Televes’ ArantiaCast 4K dongle (ref. 831492). The solution has been specifically designed for all scenarios where TV models are not compatible with manufacturers’ embedded GoogleCast functionality within the installed TV base in the hotel sector.

The system allows guests to stream content from their smartphone, tablet or computer directly to the television in their room, without the need for complex authentication processes or proprietary applications. The entire process is supported by an architecture that guarantees session segregation, preventing any crossover between rooms, even on high-density shared networks.
From a technical standpoint, ArantiaCast integrates seamlessly with the hotel’s network infrastructure, optimising multicast and unicast traffic while respecting the QoS policies defined by the operator or integrator. The result is a smooth experience for the end user and a predictable, controlled environment for system managers.
With this integration and three-way certification between Televes, Google and Samsung, the Galician brand further strengthens its position as a leading technology partner for the global Hospitality sector, combining network engineering, in-depth knowledge of hotel environments and a clear vision of how the in-room audiovisual experience is evolving.
