Televes has launched the new DigiMod, a clever domestic modulator that allows you to convert any analog signal in A/V (Audio/Video) format, or any HDMI source into another DTT channel.
The applications are endless, as signals from sources like CCTVs, cameras, analog VCRs, DVD or Blu-ray receivers, etc. can be incorporated to all televisions in the home as another DTT channel, which will enable viewing of the content anywhere in the home.
The DigiMod modulator mixes the signal from the antenna with the additional A/V or HDMI source into a single output source onto the distribution network in buildings and homes. Televes has received approval from Dish Network (http://www.dish.com/) -one of the main TV Satellite Operators in the USA, with 14 million subscribers- for its Watermarking solution on its suite of Clear QAM Encoders. Watermarking is the process of hiding digital information to verify the authenticity or integrity of the signal or to show the identity of its owners. Televes Clear QAM Encoders offers invisible watermarking as an option for forensic video analysis in an effort to prevent piracy.

Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Regional Policy, visited Televes headquarters yesterday and received a guided tour of the fully automated manufacturing line that Televes has deployed for the production of their range of DTT antennas, which received funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The Commissioner was accompanied by Carmen Vela, Spanish Secretary of State for Research and Development; Elena MuĂ±oz, Revenue Services Regional Minister, and Francisco Conde, Industry and Economic Regional Minister. One of the most prestigious specialist magazines in satellite TV reception in Germany has certified the excellent quality of the range of QSD dishes. The Satellit Emfang + Technik magazine awarded this Televes product 88 points out of a possible 100, giving it a rating of â€śvery goodâ€ť.
Satellitâ€™s analysis focuses on the QSD 75 model and highlights its main virtues as its finish, easy installation and the signal reception quality it provides. The report published in the magazine includes the conclusions of the analysis of two other dishes of similar characteristics from another two prestigious manufacturers. These products obtained ratings of 86 and 85 points, i.e. lower than the Televes QSD, which comes out on top in the comparison.
