FK8 Multi-fiber Cable Single-Mode 8 fibers, Cca Euroclass and UV-resistant LSFH, indoor/outdoor, with rodent protection

8-fiber cable, each with a different color, and UV-resistant LSFH jacket, for indoor and outdoor installation. This improves organization and facilitates identification.
It features a rodent-resistant finish using fiberglass yarns integrated into the sheath, which act as a deterrent by being uncomfortable for rodents, preventing them from biting the cable without damaging the fiber. This protection method offers the following advantages compared to metallic protection:
  • As it is a non-metallic material, it does not rust, providing greater resistance to degradation caused by corrosion.
  • It is a dielectric protection, preventing the transmission of electrical energy through it and thus avoiding the issues associated with it.
  • It is a lighter material, significantly reducing weight during transport and installation.
In addition, unlike chemical rodent protection, it does not produce smoke in case of fire.
These fiberglass yarns also act as structural reinforcement, providing high tensile strength during installation.
