Designed mainly for use in in-building telecommunications networks. Its usual point of installation is at the dividing walls of each floor, although it can also be used as a pass register in any type of installation. It will usually house the different technologies associated with telecommunications (from equipment to cabling), thus allowing it to be a measurement and testing point for the network.
