SMATV optical transmitter with AGC, 1RU 19"-rack, 1550 nm, 5 dBm
It generates an optical signal in the 1550 nm band, modulated by the incoming SMATV RF signal (47…2400 MHz), with an optical output power of 5 dBm.
It incorporates automatic gain control (AGC), which maintains a constant optical output level even if the input RF signal varies due to reception fluctuations or channel load. This avoids the need for subsequent manual readjustments and preserves signal quality.
It is ideal for RFoG solutions and also as an RF Overlay transmitter in GPON networks.
