A6 UHF: Intelligent DTT Antenna ready for DVB-T2 and UHD
Intelligent antennas that evolve with television
A6 is an intelligent antenna developed to meet the current challenges of DTT reception in the UHF band up to channel 48 (LTE700), specially optimised for DVB-T2 broadcasts and UHD content.
Thanks to its BOSS technology (Balanced Output Signal System) with an integrated TForce® chip, this antenna guarantees very stable, robust and reliable reception even in the most challenging environments. Amplification directly at the dipole minimises noise and preserves signal quality right from the point of reception, a key advantage for DVB-T2 broadcasts, whose high symbol density modulation (COFDM up to 256-QAM) requires signals with a better MER (Modulation Error Rate).
BOSS technology also automatically adjusts the gain in real time, always maintaining the optimal balance between signal quality and strength, regardless of reception conditions. The result is a signal with the best possible output level, both in areas with poor coverage and in areas with high signal levels or affected by LTE interference (4G/5G).
Made entirely from 100% stainless steel and durable ABS plastic with UV and corrosion protection, this antenna ensures maximum durability and mechanical stability in all weather conditions. Furthermore, its optimised mechanical design allows for quick, tool-free assembly in just 30 seconds.
The antenna is supplied with a power supply unit to activate intelligence (depending on ref.).

- Minimal noise for optimal C/N ratio: the integrated TForce® chip amplifies the signal at the point closest to reception, where the signal retains its maximum quality
- High dynamic range: reception across a wide range of conditions, picking up very weak signals and preventing saturation at high reception levels
- RED compliant: incorporates a high-selectivity SAW filter (Surface Acoustic Wave) that eliminates interference whilst respecting the last channel in the TV band
- Protection against 4G/5G: rejects current and future mobile phone signals, so they do not interfere with the television signal
- Aerodynamic design that optimises signal reception: the combination of semi-curved reflectors repositioned relative to the antenna axis, and three booms arranged in planes parallel to one another and perpendicular to the ‘U’-shaped dipole, improves the frequency response
- Corrosion-resistant construction: made from aluminium, with stainless steel screws and ZAMAK fixing elements treated with an anti-corrosion coating to ensure decades of durability
- Built to last: made of fibreglass and UV-pigment-reinforced ABS plastics to guarantee thermal stability and prevent degradation
- Quick, tool-free assembly: its mechanical design, conceived to facilitate installation, allows for tool-free assembly in under 30 seconds
- Two operating modes in a single antenna: the antenna activates its intelligence by powering the BOSSTech system via the coaxial cable, whilst in the absence of power it operates as a passive antenna

The introduction of a smart device like BOSS provides the antenna with the capacity to receive very weak signals without the risk of being affected by very strong signals, the result is a dynamic balance between weak and strong signals that provides optimum signal levels at all times: the "dynamic range" concept turns out to be the most outstanding among quality parameters.
The creation of TForce with BOSS technology using MMIC components is an extraordinary milestone in the optimization of the dynamic range. The technology that allowed the reception of lost signals from distant satellites is now allowing the enhancement of the coverage range in DTT installations.
