SmartKom is a compact, intelligent mast amplifier with digital channel processing, designed for single-family homes installations. It integrates signal filtering, amplification and mixing functions into a single device, simplifying installation and ensuring stable signal distribution even in environments with variable reception conditions.

It features 3 inputs for amplifying terrestrial signals (VHF+UHF), with each channel capable of being filtered individually using any of the 32 available programmable filters. It also includes an input for FM radio mixing.

Its very low noise figure, combined with on-mast amplification and automatic gain control per channel, ensures excellent MER, which is particularly important for DVB-T2 broadcasts.

The amplifier is supplied with a 12V (800mA) domestic power supply unit that is inserted into the coaxial installation and powers it through its output connector. This PSU incorporates Bluetooth® connectivity and allows the SmartKom to be paired with a smartphone or tablet for programming via ASuite app.

Its programming can be adapted to the profile of each installation. In automatic mode, SmartKom detects available channels, configures the appropriate filters, adjusts output levels and even activates the antenna power supply when necessary, completing the entire process in less than a minute. For installations requiring a higher level of customisation, the advanced mode allows the professional installer to select the desired channels and configure each filter individually via ASuite app.

Channel filter programming

The desired channels are selected from each of the available inputs, assigning a filter to each of them up to a maximum of 32.

Autoprogramming

This function processes the channels at the inputs, selecting the most prominent ones and assigning a filter to each of them. Afterwards, it performs an autoadjust to balance the signal level of the filtered channels. All of this in less than 1 minute.

Channel level autoadjust

The signal level of each channel is automatically processed by the device, bringing out the maximum possible level and balancing all filtered channels, so that there are no signal fluctuations between them.

Channel level manual fine adjustment

ASuite allows a further adjustment of ± 3dB to the previously autoadjust. It is carried out manually and independently for each filter, for those channels that require a finer adjustment.

Antenna power supply switching

It manages the flow of current through each of the inputs to power antennas or preamps, when the processed signal requires it.

Import/Export configurations

ASuite offers saving of configurations, as well as the loading of previously stored ones, saving time to the professional in the installation.
