K21 Compact Headend with Remultiplexing, DVBS2X - DVBC (QAM) with 4 CI, 8 MUX

Compact headend that generates QAM multiplex from the remultiplexation of services available on DVB-S/-S2-S2X transponders. A stand-alone solution with just an electrical plug (built-in PSU).

The headend has 4 satellite inputs that can be configured in:

  • Quattro mode for the four polarities of 1 satellite (VL/HL/ VH/ HH)
  • WideBand mode for the two polarities of 2 satellites (V/H)

In addition, it is possible to combine two K21 headends together to achieve a larger number of satellite transponders. Both devices will be connected in loop mode (cascade), and it can be possible to manage the configuration of the whole solution with one of the K21 units set in master mode.

The 4 CI interfaces and the corresponding CAM modules transform the encrypted satellite channels into free-to-air terrestrial services. Depending on the CAMs used (standard/professional), several services can be opened for free-to-air viewing.

The headend allows its configuration through a web interface, accessible via Ethernet or through a WiFi network (adapter ref. 216802 required). With the embedded interface, it is possible to perform a complete configuration in seconds by using preloaded programs, or by cloning configurations from other installations.

Input personalisation
